
This is my go to Jalapeño and Cheese Bread, the instructional video is to the right and this bread really is a delight even if I say so myself.
The twist makes it pretty inside and means that the jalapeños and cheese run evenly throughout the bread.
Surprisingly filling, enjoyed best warm with some houmous to dip into.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups (350ml) semi skimmed milk
- 1.5tsp caster sugar
- 5tsp fast action dried yeast
- 1.5tbsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups (560g) bread flour
- 75g jalapeños
- 275g cheese (50% mature cheddar, 50% double gloucester)
- 30g unsalted butter (melted)
- paprika
- cayenne pepper
- seeds of choice for topping (I use sesame)
